She Sells Seashells Drill

Instructions
- Stand or sit upright. Take a deep breath.
- Say "She sells seashells by the seashore" slowly and clearly.
- Focus on making each "sh" and "s" sound distinct.
- Repeat 5 times at slow speed, ensuring every word is crisp.
- Gradually increase your speed over 5 more repetitions.
- Aim for fast AND clear — stop if sounds start blurring.
Repetitions: 5 slow, 5 fast, 3 sets
Common Mistakes
- Blurring "sh" into "s" when speeding up
- Rushing from the very first repetition
- Not breathing between sets
Variations
- Try "She surely sees seashells" for extra "sh" practice
- Add "by the shimmering seashore" for extended practice
Take breaks between sets. If your tongue feels fatigued, rest for 30 seconds before continuing.
